Saint Jude: Patron of Hope and Impossible Causes

Who Was Saint Jude?
Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the Twelve Apostles personally chosen by Jesus Christ. He walked beside the Lord, witnessed His miracles, listened to His teachings, and remained faithful even during difficult times.
After Christ’s Resurrection and Pentecost, Saint Jude traveled throughout Mesopotamia, Syria, and Persia proclaiming the Gospel. Tradition tells us that he preached with great courage despite persecution and eventually gave his life as a martyr for the Christian faith.
Because of his unwavering faith and perseverance, the Church honors him as the patron saint of desperate situations and impossible causes.
Why Do People Pray to Saint Jude?
People often seek Saint Jude’s intercession when they have exhausted every earthly solution.

- Depression and anxiety

Obtain for me the grace I humbly ask, if it be according to God’s holy will.
